Reviews
The meal at Le Rebelle is delicious! Highly recommend the French cuisine here. We were in Perth for the weekend and while in the area decided to try out their menu. It was definitely a little busy so do recommend on making a reservation well in advance however the staff were so kind enough to give us a small table for an hour before their next booking arrived. We shared a range of mouth watering dishes. Definitely recommend all their signature dishes!
A great cosy little spot to enjoy exquisite European cuisine that is sure to hit the spot. The lightly cured king fish is not something that I am very familiar with. It turns out it was sublime. The fillet steak and Wagin duck were done to perfection, enjoyed with a crisp little side salad and a couple of drinks. With everything being so on point, including the service, how could one not be tempted by the vanilla bean creme caramel as I clearly was. A great way to finish a wonderful meal. Even though there happened to be a table available when we walked in, next time, I'll be booking in advance.
What added to our delightful experience was our decision to drop in without a reservation. Fortunately, luck was on our side, and they had a table available for us. That spontaneous decision set the tone for a wonderful evening.
The highlight, of course, was the food. The flavors were nothing short of delicious. The French style of cooking is undeniably delightful, though it does fill you up quickly. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece that left our taste buds craving for more.
One small hiccup in our experience was the menu, which was entirely in French. It was a bit challenging to decipher, but to our rescue came the manager. She took the time to explain each dish in detail, making our selection process much more manageable. Her assistance was invaluable.
Fantastic little restaurant. We came for dinner and had a very enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant has an understated French chilled vibe. Every waiter we talked to was friendly and efficient. Most importantly, the food was delicious. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
Food and service were great. Loved the French onion soup. Awesome wine list. Desserts hit the spot well too.
So the steak was incredible. The duck didn’t really do it for me, although the accompanying chips and béarnaise were delicious. Service was lovely. Cosy little place. I feel I need to return and try more dishes.
Casually fancy, spectacular food, warm and inviting layout but with stock stored in the restaurant. Terrific knowledgeable and very helpful service, they have a sense of humor and always come by at the right time. Definitely order the duck, crab and the creme caramel and you will be raving about this hip place like we are. Fun date place, they don't have a lot of big tables. Nice wine list too if you're into a glass with your meal.
The staff is really helpful and welcoming. However, we were not particularly amazed by the menu.
The duck breast was good but otherwise unimpressed by the other mains. The crab toast was the highlight of our previous visit - brioche bread was fluffy and moist. However, we were surprised by the dropping quality and portion of the new crab toast - the bread was thin and dry. Duck liver parfait has also switched to baguette from previous brioche toast, in our taste/opinion it’s just not as good, and if you ask for more bread to finish the parfait, they’d serve a different type and the quality is sub optimal.
